How long does the hail damage inspection take?
The auto hail damage inspection typically only takes between 15-20 minutes. We try to come to you when we can, depending on how many vehicles we have in the shop for repair. If we can’t come to you, you can schedule a time/date that works best for you. You can choose to schedule your inspection at our shop or at your home/work. ‘On-Location’ inspection time slots are 5-6:45pm.
The biggest benefit of having the hail damage inspection done at the shop is that our PDR techs can use special LED lighting to better identify all of the damage.
How much does auto hail damage repair cost?
The cost to repair the hail damage on your vehicle depends on the type of insurance coverage you have.
Comprehensive Coverage. When you file a hail damage claim, if you carry full-coverage or comprehensive coverage, the only expense not covered by your insurance company is the deductible. The average deductible cost averages between $500-$1000. Good news, with Superior Dent Solutions we cover the cost of your deductible up to $1000. You will pay nothing to get the hail damage repaired on your vehicle.
Liability Coverage. If you have liability coverage, unfortunately – the cost to cover the repairs will be out of pocket. Superior Dent Solutions has created a hail damage car repair cost calculator to help give you an idea of how much it will cost to repair the damage.
How long does hail damage repair take?
It really depends on the severity of the damage and how widespread the hail storm was. The average amount of time we will have your vehicle in our shop is anywhere from a couple of days to 1 week.
Another time factor is your insurance company. We work with all Oklahoma insurance companies and many insurance adjusters will come to the shop to do their estimates. If you need assistance dealing with your insurance company, we are more than happy to help.
Superior Dent Solutions will make sure you have a rental car to drive while your hail damage is being repaired. If your insurance company doesn’t cover the cost of a rental, we will.

Will the dents come back after being repaired with PDR?
This is a great question. The answer is no. If you take your vehicle to a reputable paintless dent repair shop, you should never worry about the dents returning.

This is a question we frequently get asked. Yes, we cover the cost of your deductible up to $1,000. We understand that coming up with an unexpected expense of $500-$1000 is not always easy. No one can predict when their vehicle will get caught up in a hail storm, we try to ease the burden of this cost for you.
Do I need to file a hail damage claim with my insurance before I schedule a repair with Superior Dent Solutions?
Since COVID, the process for filing hail damage or any kind of vehicle damage claim has become much more simplified. Pre-COVID, car owners were required to file a claim before scheduling a repair and wait for an insurance adjuster to inspect the vehicle for damages. Once they received the estimate to repair, they could schedule with a paintless dent repair company.
Today, the only thing you need to do is schedule an inspection with Superior Dent Solutions and we will handle the rest.
We will come to your home or office to inspect your vehicle and write up an estimated cost to repair. We will contact your insurance company and file your claim.
Once the estimate is approved, we will begin repairs on your vehicle. We will keep you updated on the status of your repair by text message. When your vehicle has been repaired, we will let you know and schedule a time for pick-up.
